Saxophone, Flute and Clarinet

Gary is a long established, successful and popular woodwind teacher in the local area and beyond, having taught  privately since 2001 and in schools for Richmond Music Trust for over a decade. He also has a wealth of performance experience, having played saxophone with his own jazz quartet at the Bull's Head in Barnes for several years, and also with other bands of various genres from rock'n'roll to funk and soul.

He has attained a Licentiate LTCL Performance Diploma on saxophone from Trinity College, ABRSM Grade 8 on Clarinet and Flute, as well as the CTABRSM Teaching Certificate. He boasts a 99.8% success rate from 440 pupil music exams so far, of which 24% gained Distinction and 48% Merit. 10 of his pupils have received Music Scholarships or Awards.
