Pricing
Lessons: £148 a month (normally £160). Cello: £34 a month (normally £39). Membership: £182 a month. Save £17 a month, £204 a year.
40 lessons a year in 12 equal monthly payments. Instrument rental has a 3-month minimum. Member pricing applies while lessons continue.
Starting instruments: cello, violin, viola and guitar. Other instruments coming soon.

Can I get music lessons and an instrument in one place?
Yes. Grow With Ritz combines weekly lessons at our Richmond studio with a rented instrument in the right size. We arrange the lessons and size swaps as your child grows.
How much do cello lessons cost in Richmond?
At Ritz Music Studio, weekly 30-minute lessons are £160 a month on our standard subscription. With Grow With Ritz, members pay £148 for lessons plus £34 for a rented cello: £182 a month in total.
Do I need to buy an instrument for my child's lessons?
No. With Grow With Ritz, your child rents an instrument in the right size as part of their membership, so there's no large upfront cost for an instrument they'll soon outgrow.
What size cello does a 6-year-old need?
Most young beginners start on a small fractional size such as 1/8 or 1/4, but it depends on the child's height and arm length rather than age alone. Your teacher will check the right size at the assessment lesson.
What happens when my child outgrows their instrument?
We swap it for the next size up at no extra cost. Outgrown instruments are passed on to the next young musician.
What age can children start music lessons at Ritz?
There is no fixed starting age. We match the lesson format and instrument to each child.
